Learn English with EnglishClass101.com! While you’re cleaning out your closet, you come across some old memorabilia from when you first moved to the United States. You find some old airline ticket stubs tucked in a folder, which say in English that you arrived in December two years ago. “Wow,” you tell your roommate in English, “Next week I will have been in the U.S. for two years. The time has flown by!” Your roommate agrees and says in English, “It has. It seems like yesterday that you moved in, but think about all you’ve accomplished in these last two years!” Thoughtfully, you ponder the time and after a moment tell your roommate in English, “Yeah, I’ve started college, held a job, went on some dates, played some intramural sports, and partied way too much!” Your roommate says in English, “There’s nothing wrong with that! They say the years just go faster as we get older…” You reply in English, “So let’s make the most of it before time will have passed us by, and go do something aside from sit in this apartment!”

Thanks for your feedback.
I understand how these lessons can be a little tough for absolute beginners. We’re trying to improve our lessons right now by gearing them better to our listeners.
We’ll keep your comment in mind when we build our lessons. Thanks again!
