What do you think?” You tell your roommate in English, “A pizza would really hit the spot. I’ll stop by this new pizza place and get a pie on the way home.” Your roommate asks in English, “But I thought you were getting a pizza?” You tell your roommate in English, “You’ve been working too much…I meant a pizza pie!” Your roommate says, “Duh, I get it now.”

I like this pizza shop. I would order one if there’s one near here.

I think guys at English101 have done a great job. Whereas ordinary text books, or even ordinary English teachers, are boring, the stories you guys bring are pretty fun indeed! Besides, those casual expressions are really useful I think.
