Learn English with EnglishClass101.com! With the advent of the Internet, libraries that were once full of children looking at books written in English are now half-full of children using computers searching in English. So many resources that used to be in book form are now online, but you’re such a dinosaur that you have no idea how to help your child do research for her English class. For example, when she asks you in English, “Where can I find an encyclopedia?” you start to head to the desk to ask the librarian where the reference section is in English. However, your daughter tugs on your arm and says, “I need to know how to look it up on the Internet.” You think to yourself in English, “How am I supposed to know where to find an online encyclopedia? Do they even have such things?” Without missing a beat, you pretend to know what you are doing and tell your daughter in English, “Why don’t you try to look it up on the search engine? I can’t give you all the answers-you have to find them for yourself!”
