Top 10 US Destinations - Disney World Isn’t A Small World After All
Walt Disney World—a place where dreams come true.Disney World is Florida's place to be, with fun and excitement for all ages. Covering forty square miles, the resort is about the size of San Francisco, or two Manhattan islands, with a small percentage designated as a wilderness preserve. Adventure lies in the Magic Kingdom with all the classic attractions, characters, parades, and fireworks. Mickey Mouse will be wearing one of his 290 outfits and Minnie will try on all two hundred of hers before she chooses the perfect dress for the occasion.
There's also the Epcot Center with all the technological innovation, culture, and cuisine of eleven different nations. If you want a splash in some cool water, visit Disney's Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard Beach features one of the world's fastest and tallest waterslides and Typhoon Lagoon has a pool with six-feet waves or a reef where you can snorkel with real sharks. There's also a great children's area with kid-sized raft rides.
At Walt Disney World Resort, you can create a family adventure to please everyone in your family—it's not a small world, and it's not just for small people. The resort is beautiful in the day time or night, and there's so much to see, you'll have to return. Besides, everyone needs one of the famous "Mouse Ear" hats. Every year, so many ears are purchased that you could cover a 175-mile stretch if you laid them ear-to-ear. Plan a trip the whole family will love and get your Mouse Ears; it's a rite of passage.
