Thank you for your question! A ‘Navy’ is a fleet of ships, submarines, airplanes and so forth that are focused on sea and ocean based activities. It’s part of the armed forces, alongside the army and air force.

‘Marines’ are the soldiers that are part of the navy.

I hope that makes it clearer!
