Thank you for posting. "Long time no see." is a colloquial phrase that is interchangeable with "Haven't seen you in a while!" It is usually reserved for people you haven't seen in years, not just months or weeks, although it can be used sarcastically if you have seen a person repeatedly in a short amount of time. :)
