Fun at the Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey
The Atlantic City Boardwalk is well-known for its active nightlife and casinos, but there is so much more to this entertainment destination than meets the eye. It's home to the Bally's Wild West Casino, which is the only themed casino in the world. You can gamble the hours away with its 5,400 machines and 232 table games. In all, there are eleven casinos in Atlantic City, and the city is the home of the first legal casino in the eastern part of the United States.
Anyone who enjoys looking at lights at night won't want to miss the Boardwalk because the numerous lights make the experience very exciting. In addition to all the lights, there is plenty to do, no matter what time of day or night. The Steel Pier offers attractions for the entire family, including various amusement park rides, helicopter rides, and more. There's also plenty of shopping, as well as Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum.
The Atlantic City Boardwalk also holds Garden Pier, which is the home for arts and culture in the city. There is much to learn about the history of the city, and taking a walking tour on the Boardwalk is the perfect way to do this. There's also the Absecon Lighthouse, Atlantic City Aquarium, and the rest of the Historic Gardner's Basin.
The Atlantic City Boardwalk offers a fun-filled experience for people of all ages with plenty to do. Whether your interest lies in hitting the beach, gambling, shopping, or the arts, you're sure to find exactly the type of entertainment destination you're looking for.

Hi Andy,

It is a way of saying that you can spend so much time gambling, that you don't notice the passage of time. We can use the expression "the hours away" for many things, such as "dance the hours away" or "sing the hours away". We usually only use this expression with fun activities we want to do though, so you won't hear someone say "clean the hours away" unless they're being sarcastic or really love cleaning!

If you have any other questions, please ask.
