Hi there Abimelec,

Thanks for taking the time to write to us! ๐Ÿ˜„

You can say "Why don't we go see a movie this Saturday?" without the use of the connector word 'and' and it would still be grammatically correct. It is a shorter version of saying 'go to see.' It is a special usage of the verb 'go' which can also be used like this: 'go get,' 'go do' and 'go find.'

I hope this is helpful to you! ๐Ÿ˜„

Sincerely,

ร‰va

Hi Giorgia,

It means that the person wants to see the movie, but can't because they have to work in the morning.

Thanks,

Kellie
