Hello Lex,

Thanks for getting in touch. ๐Ÿ˜„

The meaning of "surprised at" and "surprised by" can be that someone is shocked at an unexpected outcome or a person is feeling disappointed. These are often used interchangeably and can mean the other, depending on the circumstances, for example in:

"...You'll be surprised at how far a little English will go..." - this means, 'you will have a feeling of surprise at the outcome and opportunities you get from learning English.'

I hope this helps. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘

Sincerely,

ร‰va

once again....

Hello,

I read the lesson transcript and I found out in the intro there is the following sentence:

"...You'll be surprised at how far a little English will go..."

Could you explain me what the difference between โ€œsurprised atโ€ vs โ€œsurprised byโ€ is, please?

Thanks
