Do you know how to talk about trends in English?
Hi, my name is Daphne, and this is Three Step English by EnglishClass101.com.
In this lesson, you'll learn "how to talk about trends" through a quick conversation.
Let's look at the dialogue.
Good evening, everyone. My name is Isabel Gomez, and I’m a program director here at the space program.
You may be wondering why you should invest in our program. Recent data shows that people are considerably more interested in science now than they used to be. Last year, public interest in scientific research grew rapidly.
This public attention is due to some extent to social media. As technology has grown, people have gradually begun to use social media to learn about new science.
At the space program, we’ve been steadily building new research facilities and expanding our social media presence.
I would like to encourage you to invest in the space program, and invest in the future of science. Thank you.
