HideHow do the dishes in the dialogue sound to you? ;)
Hi Budi,
Thanks for your question. The verb "did" is a modal auxiliary that is used either as a helping verb or to emphasise something. For example, "Who did tell you about this place?" would be used after a sentence like "He didn't tell me about this place." Then someone would say (in contradiction) "So who DID tell you about this place?"
Hope this makes sense.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
...And have a Merry Christmas!
Kind regards,
Gabriella

Hi,
something make me confused. Why the question is โWho told you about this place?โ Why not โWho did tell you about this place?
could you explain the reason?

Hi Haitham,
"mutual" means the same as the other person (and is often used when sharing another person's emotion or feeling). In the example you gave, the feeling shared was excitement. "To nod" is body language meaning "to agree" (moving the head up and down - when this is done fast it indicates a feeling of excitement.
I'm not sure I understood your question about sentences and phrases. In this sample sentence you mean? Or in general?
Kind regards,
Gabriella
