Hi Mahes,

In refers to something inside. For example, there is a phone inside my pocket. The man is within the shower. The food is inside the microwave. I have a tongue in my mouth.

On is a direction - up. There is a hat on my head. There is a plate on the table. There is a cat on the floor.

Maybe this sentence will help: The cat is on the chair in the house. :)

Great question!

Adam

hey i have a question:

where we can use 'in' and 'on'

in your ex:

The baby is sleeping on the Blanket. shall we use Baby is sleeping in the blanket.

The man is showering in the Shower. why don't we use The man is showering on the Shower.

can you give insight of 'in' and 'on' usage

Thanks

This is a nice music to calm down.

I didn't know that the word shower has the same meaning of shower room.

It's interesting.
