In the previous lesson, we covered how to ask for and buy a train ticket. Once you have established the destination, it is time to select the type of seat you want. You may be able to choose between a window seat and an aisle. Let's break those two words down - window. Aisle.
Let's imagine you want to buy a ticket. You can say, an aisle seat to the city, please. Once again, an aisle seat to the city, please. An aisle seat is what you want, to the city is where you need to go to, and of course please. Once again that's, an aisle seat to the city, please.
If you want a window seat, then the structure is the same. All you have to do is ask for it. A window seat to the city please. A window seat to the city please. These are not very common requests for trains, they are more common on airplanes. Just to let you know!
Okay, now to close out today's lesson, we'd like you to practice what you've just learned. I'll say the phrase or sentence, and why don't you try saying it out loud? Good luck everybody!
- An aisle seat to the city, please.
- A window seat to the city please.
All right, that's going to do it for today! See you all soon!
When you play example for aisle "The bride walked down the aisle." you will hear "I can identify most people home town by the accent" ๐

I prefer the window seat to the aisle seat not only on vacation but also on business.
I like to see the scenery outside the window, the villages, the rivers, the mountains and so on.
Especially when I on the plane, I am a little bit scared if I cann't see the lands through out of the windows.
