Hello Lex,

Great question! Thanks for taking the time to clarify this.

The word 'though' can be a conjunction meaning 'despite the fact that' or the full word 'although.' It can also be an adverb meaning 'however.'

In the sentence "When sending a package though..." it is being used as an adverb. It indicates that something forces some restrictions on what was said previously (e.g. when sending a package there are conditions/restrictions/things to consider).

I hope this helps you to understand the word 'though' better. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘

Please feel free to ask us any other questions you have throughout your studies.

Sincerely,

ร‰va

Hello,

I was reviewing the lesson transcript and I did not understand the meanning of the word "though" in the follow sentence:

"...

When sending a package though,

..."

Could you please explain it, please?

Thanks in advance

The format of these lessons are excellent for people who wants to speak English confidently! There are very good phrases in this course! Thank you very much! Don't make them longer. let them stay short- because it's so good way to learn them and remember

Hi Javad,

Thank you for your comment. Sometimes, the length might be shorter as you can see in this lesson, however, please understand that we cannot merge them into one lesson since each lesson will be focusing on different topics.

But for the series above this level, you'll be able to find lessons with the length of more than 10 minutes, as we deliver more information about grammar points and related vocabularies.

If you have any questions or suggestions for the EngilshClass101.com lessons, feel free to let us know.

Thank you,

Jae

What's the point of splitting down these short files into two sections/sub topics? It's really crazy! Why should the users be obliged to download 2 different sets of files for an audio file that is shorter than 2 minutes!

Please merge the files into the files that are at least 10 minutes long. I guess that your reasoning might be based on the fact that the sections should not be boring, but they're ridiculously short! I (and most probably many other users) think you want to stretch them out to cover your lack of educational material!

Jessi,

I partake in an wish list event. You post your wish list of 10 things you really want for Christmas. It can be anything (a hug, world peace, a new car, health, donations for a charity etc.). And then you browse through other people's wish lists and see if you can fulfil some of their wishes. There is no guarantee that you will get something (especially world peace is a bit hard to to get and wrap). But in the 3 years I have done this I always got something. I think it's a great idea.

A lot of people want Christmas cards, especially from all over the world. So I send a few out. And then I saw that girl who really loves Kinder Happy Hippos (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinder_Happy_Hippo) but she lives in the US and it's hard to come by. So I though I send her some. for me it's just a trip to the convenience store & the post office.

I hope they'll get there intact *cross fingers*
